Workout Plan

Hello readers

This blog post will be my weekly workout plan and what i eat before and after a workout.

MONDAY

My school day finishes early every Monday, so after school I head of to the gym together with my workout mate. At the gym we run for 30min to an hour before doing push ups, situps, the plank, squats and other types of strength training. After my workout I spend around 30min stretching which is very fun since I am actually getting flexible.

TUESDAY

I go to the gym in the evening on Tuesdays where I cycle for 45 min before a proper leg-day. Love Tuesdays but normally can’t walk the next day. After working out I spend some time stretching and resting my legs.

WEDNESDAY

On Wednesdays I have yoga with my gym buddy. The yoga I do is called “Fire & Soul” and is 20 min dynamic Yoga and 20 min calm stretching yoga. Yoga has made my life less stressful and I absolutely love doing it.

THURSDAY

Thursdays are my days of where I chill out

FRIDAY

This is honestly my favorite day of the week. Not only because it’s Friday, but because I have a boxing class. It is so much fun!!

SATURDAY & Sunday

Saturdays and Sundays are the same as Mondays. Often on Sundays I have a less tiring workout, but nonetheless It still is a great work out.

Afternoon readers!

I have been loving this beautiful weather going on at the moment and because of the weather I have been going crazy in the fruit section in my local supermarket as well as a small fruit and vegetable shop. So as you can read from the title, here are my top 10 fruits and why they are good for you!

Things I Want When in Paris

Afternoon

Half way through the week now!

As you may have read, I am traveling to Paris in the middle of May for three days. In this time I would love to see some of the main attractions as well as do some shopping or strolling through some of the beautiful streets of the capital. You can read in my previous post, here, of the three main attractions I want to see.

As you may have read from the title, I am going to list some of the things I would like to buy on my way to, in and on my way back from Paris.

Perfume

I really need a new perfume! I am so tiered of some of those I have and as spring is nearing I would enjoy a more fresh smell. I have smelled some of the “grace” series by Philosophy. Most of the perfumes have a sweet summer/spring scent. “Amazing Grace” smells of citrus, flowers and a slight musky tone. The package is unbelievably cute and would look amazing on a white counter.

The next item that is on my shopping list is a pair of sunglasses and being very mainstream the ones I have been eying are made by RayBan. To be even more mainstream I am planning on purchasing the Clubmasters in either matte black or tortoise.

To continue my sun glass fever I would love to find a pair of round “hipster” sunnies. At the moment I do not own a pair of sunglasses, so hopefully I find what I am looking for!

Another thing I am looking for is a disposable camera so I can take loads of old looking photos

I have been obsessed with these shorts for ages, but I have never gotten around to looking for them. VINTAGE LEVI’S SHORTS!!!!! They are honestly the coolest shorts in the world and I think I will wear them all the time, any time, whenever because they are so amazingly gorgeous!

All praise the butt!

You thought I was finished? Not at all! I would love to find some vintage tees or as you may refer to the t-shirts. Or just regular t-shirts with amazing prints! It would be so cool to go by a secondhand-shop and buy some cool t-shirts for very little (as most of the other things are quiiiite pricey).

If I do stumble across an amazing secondhand-shop I would love to find some cool kimono.

Yoga Motivation

Happy Monday!

For over a month I have been practicing Yoga between 1-2 times a week. This is in addition to working out every day and doing stretches. Here is some motivation to maybe get you started in a healthier lifestyle. Remember Yoga is not supposed to hurt in case any of you try!

Top 10 – Artists/bands

My last post was about my favorite songs at the moment, check it out here. I love music and spend most of my time listening to whilst doing other stuff. My music taste varies, but I always have my favorite artists and bands who I always love listening to, whatever mood I am in.

Bastile

My favorite band of all time! I can listen to them all day and I am in love with their newest album, but I do enjoy listening to the older songs that I can sing along to. I am lucky enough to be going to see them at a festival this summer so look out for a post about that!

I would love to list my favorite songs by them, but the list would be to long. Recommend you all to listen to them.

Shawn Mendes

Famous from Vine, he is one of my newer favorite artist. His songs always let me feel how I want to, you understand? My favorite songs are

Stitches

Something Big

Both songs are upbeat, fun songs that have an amazing lyrics. When I am really sad or just need to cry I always listen to Stitches and if I want to listen to some fun music I mix between the two songs.

Broiler or DJ Broiler

Some of you may have heard of them, and if not go check them out. The duo is made up of two Norwegian boys and their songs are sooooo good. Their new songs are in English, but I do prefer the old ones, all performed in Norwegian with hilarious concepts.

Fall Out Boy

Absolutely love this band. Crazy good songs filled with so much energy. I still remember the first song that I heard made by them: My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark. Their songs are my pump up songs and I always feel more awake and ready to do something!

Miley Cyrus

I have always, and will always love her! She is a brilliant artist. Her look is crazy and I just love her. Her music is so fun to listen to and most of my friends know the lyrics to almost all her songs, so when we put on her songs we sing at the top of our voices. To be honest I do miss the old her and her old style of music, but her new music is so energetic.

Arctic Monkey

Listened to their songs for forever. I always listen to their songs when its raining, what a mood. Their songs just make me question life in a good way and it motivates me in some weird way!

Cage the Elephant

Their songs are amazing. My favorite song is Cigarette Daydream! It is so cute. They have their own style and it is so fun to listen to. Some songs are calm whilst others are insane. Love them all!

Olly Murs

He is the cutest and I love his songs. He reminds me a bit of Ed Sheeran, but all his songs are more upbeat. They always put me in a good mood. His songs also make me feel really good about my self! and we all need more of that in our everyday life.

Ed Sheeran

We have all heard his songs. They light up the world, but if you listen to the lyrics you might just shed a tear. All of his songs make me feel happy and sad at the same time, but they are all so different. If you don’t know who he is then I recommend you google him because he is amazing!

Sam Smith

His voice is amazing!! And all his songs are so good. Love listening to all his songs. They just make me feel so happy. Well.. not all, but most of them. He is such a talented artist.

To do in – Paris, France

On the 13th of may I will be traveling to Paris, France together with both my parents and my younger sister. I will be flying home on the 16th, whilst my parents will be coming home on the 17th of may, Norway’s national day. In Paris I would like to do some shopping and site seeing.

There are three main sites I very much would like to visit, the Eiffel Tower, Musee de Louvre, Château de Versailles.

The Eiffel Tower

This wonderful place

Afternoon.

Today my day started lazing in bed reading the newspaper whilst sipping on my coffee. I recently changed from using skimmed milk to using soya milk and i really enjoy the taste.

After waking up I put on some clothes before walking down to make some food. Kettle got put on, and my mixer was brought out. Made a protein smoothie, green tea and protein, banana pancakes. It was absolutely lovely! Whilst eating I put on the TV an watched some superficial reality program, not to exciting. So once I was finished eating I put my makeup on and left the building.

My daily trip consisted of taking the train down down, then walking for about 20 minuets through the Castle Park and over to the store where I found myself buying a gift for my younger sister. The walk was beautiful and I should have brought my  camera. Not often you get to see such lovely sun in Easter here in Oslo. I was listening to my favorite songs on this trip which just made such a nice scene. Really dreamed myself away in thoughts and in the beauty.

After coming back home my friend invited me back out to shop for her sisters present and as I have not seen her in over a week I of course said yes. We walked and talked together catching up on all the latest gossip and all of our problems. We also spoke about our summer holiday. As she is of to Spain for three weeks and after that she is going to live in New York for a year we really wanted to get as much out of our summer as possible. We are going to try and take a trip to Denmark together and travel to some of our friends summer houses in Norway.

As of now I am planing to head of to the gym with another friend. The other day I found a machine that makes it feel like your running on clouds and because of my shin injuries this machine was so perfect. Today I will “run” on my cloud machine for 30 minuets before doing Hatha Yoga for 1 hour. Looking forward to the Yoga although I am very stiff after yesterdays work out.
